![]() ![]() ![]() The research project is a joint development of private industry and academic institutions. In addition a design for water depth up to 700 m is currently under development. The preliminary design of the floating system called GICON®-Tension Leg Platform (TLP) is meant to provide a solution for harnessing the power of offshore wind at water depths between 20 m and 350 m. Both types, fixed and floating foundations, will play a major role in utilizing these resources.
